In a little over a month gamers on Xbox One, PS4 and PC (and Nintendo Switch later) will be able to grab their leathers and lid before caning it around the Isle of Man astride some two-wheeled beasts. And in order to ensure that TT Isle of Man 2 is the best motorcycle racer it can be Nacon and KT Racing have today confirmed that a number of classic bikes will be included.

Due to hit Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 19th, with that Nintendo Switch launch arriving a little later down the line, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 promises to be a more immersive, more realistic motorcycle racing simulation than that which went before it (grab our review of the original TT Isle of Man right here). This means that should you be a speed freak and just love getting to grips with anything two-wheeled, then Ride on the Edge 2 could well be for you.

The bike physics have been rebuilt from the ground up to create ultra-realistic behaviour, including better balance around bends. But what’s more, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 also introduces an improved first-person view for complete immersion.

However the main draw today is that of the classics and the latest in the TT Isle of Man series will have those in abundance: the MV Agusta 500 Three, Norton NRS 588, Suzuki XR69, Yamaha TZ 750 and the Ducati 900, a legendary bike ridden by Mike Hailwood. In 1978, “Mike the Bike” came back on the Isle of Man, 11 years after his previous participation, and grabbed victory with his Ducati 900. And should you be excited to replicate that in-game then pre-ordering the retail version of the game on any platform will let you reenact this glorious moment as you go about handling a historical bike with a particular and demanding gameplay.

Created in 1907, the TT is the world’s most famous motorcycle race. The 61km course with 260 bends is the most iconic circuit for road-racing riders and it won’t be long before us gamers get the chance to experience the officially licensed riders, bikes and tracks in TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
