There is much hype surrounding the upcoming arrival of Balan Wonderworld, after all, when Square Enix and the creators of Sonic the Hedgehog get together, the outcome should be pretty special. And that certainly looks to be the case when Balan Wonderworld gets a release – a release in which that date is now known as pre-orders go live.
So, fancy getting yourself involved with a new 3D action platformer? Balan Wonderworld should be it when it drops onto Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC come March 26th 2021. If you do find it interesting, the fantastical land of Wonderworld will await.
In Balan Wonderworld you will get the opportunity to explore a vast land, all whilst being guided by an enigmatic maestro – Balan. It is Balan who will help as you attempt to restore balance to the world, clearing Wonderworld of Negati, physical manifestations of worry and other negative emotions. In order to do this you’ll find yourself jumping, climbing, flying and smashing through a whole host of unique areas, picking up a number of stunning costumes in the process. There will be more than 80 of these in Balan Wonderworld, each of which will bestows the user with its own special power, from the Pumpkin Puncher outfit that lets players smash through obstacles blocking pathways to the Air Cat costume that allows players to walk in mid-air for a certain amount of time.
If you can’t wait for Balan Wonderworld to hit home, then you may well be interested to know that pre-orders for the game start from today, with the Xbox Store holding Xbox pre-orders for £49.99.
And to celebrate the fact, a new trailer is in place, showcasing the cooperative multiplayer feature that holds things together. With this, two players can explore the game in local co-op, using creativity to overcome challenges by finding ideal combinations of costumes that work well together. Players can work independently, using the abilities of their respective costumes, or, if they enter close proximity of one another, can enjoy the “Joint Play” feature and use their costume abilities together at the same time.
