SEGA has confirmed this afternoon that Sonic the Hedgehog will be a playable character in the forthcoming Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. The speedy blue hedgehog will be available as an unlockable character. From the sounds of it there will be plenty of unlockable items and costumes throughout the game as players progress further into it. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is out on the Nintendo Switch, 29th October.
