
Sonic the Hedgehog social media manager Aaron Webber has announced that future Sonic games will be given longer development times to bring the franchise up to the quality that the fans rightly expect. This should come as a relief to many as the last major Sonic title Sonic Forces simply just wasn’t up to scratch. It also explains why SEGA hasn’t announced a new mainline release for the franchise, though this could change as it is presumed that one could be announced at the Game+ Expo showcase which begins on 23rd of June.
