The super popular multiplayer social deduction game Among Us (Free) from Innersloth is set to get a huge update later this month on iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, and PC bringing in an account system, the anticipated Airship map, and more. While the game debuted on mobile and PC back in 2018, it exploded in popularity last year thanks to streamers and even arrived on Nintendo Switch recently. A new blog post from Innersloth has confirmed the release date for the new Airship map, the account system, and more changes and additions coming to Among Us. The free update brings in new tasks, being able to pick the room you start in, ladders, and Innersloth is even teasing free hats. If you’ve not seen the Airship yet, watch the Among Us Airship map trailer from a few months ago below:
The Among Us Airship map and account system will arrive on March 31st for all platforms. Innersloth’s blog post also details the considerations that went into the account system and why it took so long to arrive and the focus on moderation for it. After this major update, hopefully we get some news on the Xbox versions of the game. If you’ve not gotten it yet, Among Us is available for free on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here. Check it out on Nintendo Switch here and Steam here. Here’s our forum thread for the game. Among Us is also coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S platforms this year. Do you play it regularly and what do you think of the Among Us collaboration in Fall Guys on console and PC?
