Fans of the Bastion Greco-Roman aesthetic were thrilled to get a hoplon shield for their transmog sets, but sadly that shield has been diminished into more of a buckler. That’s really too bad.

Interestingly, many are more annoyed that the change was undocumented, than that the change happened at all, however Blizzard is not deliberately trying to slip in potentially controversial changes and hope players won’t notice. Changes like this are small and slip in under the radar. This change is purely cosmetic and was not worth the time it would take to communicate it to the patch notes.
