Rendle is a Dredger that sits near the entrance of Castle Nathria, whose main role is to provide repairs. This, along with the fact that there have been many, many wipes, partly due to how Castle Nathria’s Tuning was harder than expected when it was released, seems to have added up to a nice little pile of gold for Rendle, and it can be seen behind him now.
We’re used to Brokers collecting treasure, and that we’ll even be conflicting with them soon in a megadungeon in Patch 9.1, but gold-piling Dredgers? Maybe it’s time to keep an eye on Rendle. Who knows what he has planned.
