Nintendo has announced a pair of Fortnite-themed Switch Joy-Con controllers.
The new yellow and blue Joy-Con set will launch on June 4 and come with 500 V-Bucks to spend in the battle royale title plus a download code for in-game cosmetics collectively titled the Fleet Force Bundle.
Nintendo released special edition Fortnite Switch hardware in October 2020. It features a unique design on its console and dock, as well as Fortnite yellow and blue Joy-Con controllers similar to the newly announced ones.
The console comes with Fortnite pre-installed and a Wildcat Bundle download code, which gives users access to the Wildcat Outfit, two additional styles, and 2000 V-Bucks.
Since its launch on Switch in June 2018, Fortnite has become the most downloaded game ever launched on Nintendo hardware in Europe, according to the platform holder.
Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 6 will launch on March 16 with a single-player narrative event. Titled Zero Crisis Finale, the solo experience will centre on Agent Jones and act as a bridge between Seasons 5 and 6.
